I hope you are all well.
May is THE month in Australia where we celebrate all that is wonderful about wool. I am taking part in a number of events next month, one of which is KPC's annual pop-up "Thread & Colour 2" at 14 William Street, Paddington here in Sydney from the 20th to the 28th of May.
I am running two workshops during the pop-up using specially made 1 kg bumps of K1S1 in sand, silver, lilac and ballet pink.
We are using our arms for these workshops and you get to choose between one of four projects: two types of adorable oversized soft vessels with contrast stitching and two styles of squishy super scarves. I will have additional materials available for purchase on the day if one project is not enough.
Bookings for the workshops can be made through KPC's online store. The dates are Sunday 21st of May and Saturday 27th of May. An evening class mid week may also be possible so email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
I am also participating in a discussion with beautiful Julie Gibbs, Indira Naidoo and Meredith Gaston about the therapeutic and transformative benefits of knitting and crafting prior to the opening event on the 20th May. There is a $15 entrance fee at the door. All proceeds will be donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. Hope to see you there.
All the best.
