Monday 6 August 2012 These are all moments from my Monday, always a busy day juggling many balls: a productive day today.
This is how I start every Monday morning during the school term. I rock up just before 9 and sort out the pencil situation for my daughter's kindergarten teacher. Elodie has been blessed with a brilliant teacher. I could not hope for a better start for my girl. He is creative, he is musical, he is fun, he is BIG on manners and he seems to appreciate Elodie's particular brand of "crazy business". Relief!
Elodie enjoyed her first sports carnival today. She actually placed first in a running race. Who would have thought I would birth a runner? Go figure! Elodie definitely does not take after her Mother in the physical ability department.
This is a sample pack of colour samples I put together for an interior design firm based in Woollahra. It looked so pretty I had to take a photo. Here's another:
I love colour.
My husband and I celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary last Thursday. I'm very proud of this achievement. We actually met as teenagers so we've been together for 21 years. Still going strong.
These are gorgeous home grown orchards given to me today by one of our neighbours (we have 4) as a celebratory gift. Aren't they exquisite? We often go walking, this neighbour and I. We stretch out the legs, sort out our problems and quieten our minds in the process. I always feel so much better after our outings. We could not have hoped for better neighbours. We are very blessed.
