This pattern uses alternating rows of knit and purl stitches, This stitch is also known as stockinette stitch. To minimize the tendency of this stitch to roll inwards widthwise, this pattern requires you to start and finish every row with a knit stitch.

Materials required

+ 5kg bump of K1S1 Extreme Knitting Yarn.
+ K1S1 Industrial Knitting Needles, 50mm diameter, 110cm long. Circular needles can be used but please note that this pattern is based on a needle with a diameter of 50mm due to the scale of the K1S1 yarn.
+ Scissors.
+ Needle and cotton thread in matching colour for securing the ends.
