It has been a while since I have blogged. Life is busy and the days are short but the mad scramble that carries us all hurdling into a New Year is finally behind us. So, I have mustered some energy and made myself a cup of tea determined to catch up on some Little Dandelion happenings over the past two months.
I was recently approached via my Facebook Page by a very interesting woman named Krystal Maree Gough. Krystal is the Creative Designer and Owner of Orphan Designs, a graphic design studio based on the Gold Coast, Australia. Krystal's design work covers logo design, print design and illustration. It's gorgeous.
Just to make life interesting, Krystal, alongside Kate Samson, also publishes Ember Magazine, an online lifestyle magazine. Krystal and Kate now have three issues under their belt. They have created an interesting product which is right up the alley of any creative type. I love Krystal and Kate's bravery of taking on such a monumental challenge in the cut throat world of publishing. I also love that they don't feel constrained by entrenched expectations of what a magazine should be like. Krystal and Kate have created a unique read and I have no doubt that you will enjoy Ember.
Issue Three includes an interview on Little Dandelion and I have reproduced it below with the kind permission of Krystal. Thank you Krystal and Kate for your feature and support. If the print is too small to read, just visit Ember Magazine via the link above. It's free. Yay!
